Over the next month Crafty Arty Parties is swinging into cinemas for a bundle of private screenings delivering some fantastic pre show entertainment and activities. We just can’t wait!

With so many great films coming out we  thought we would share a few of our favourites!

Ratchet and Clank!

Unlikely heroes Ratchet and Clank struggle to stop alien chairman Drek from destroying planets in the Solana Galaxy. When the two stumble upon a dangerous weapon capable of destroying the entire universe, they join forces  with a team of heroes called The Galactic Rangers to save the galaxy. Along the way they’ll learn about heroism, friendship, and the importance of discovering one’s own identity. Voices include Sylvester Stallone, Paul Giamatti, Bella Thorne, John Goodman and Rosario Dawson. On general release from Friday April 29th

The Wild Life

On a tiny exotic island, Tuesday, a parrot lives with his quirky animal friends, but he can’t stop dreaming about discovering the world. After a violent storm, Tuesday and his friends find a strange creature on the beach: Robinson Crusoe. Tuesday views Crusoe as his ticket off the island and likewise, Crusoe soon realizes that the key to surviving on the island is through the help of Tuesday and the other animals. On general release from Friday 6th May

The Angry Birds Movie

The video game phenomenon hits the big screen with this hilarious spin-off animation. How did the birds meet the pigs? We’re about to find out in this rib-tickling CGI animation. Jason Sudeikis leads the top-notch voice cast as flock leader Red, with Bill Hader as the commander of the evil porcine interlopers who arrive on the flightless birds’ island idyll, sparking all-out war. On general release from Wednesday 11th May

May 27th – you’d better save the date!

Curious? Well you’d better be as that’s when the highly anticipated Alice Through the Looking Glass upcoming sequel to the 2010 film Alice in Wonderland, launches in the UK.

Most of the crew and cast have returned, including Tim Burton who directed the first film, who is now the producer, and of course Johnny Depp and Mia WaisKowska continue to play the lead characters.

The story goes along the lines of: Alice finds a looking glass, returns to the  nonsensical realm of Underland and finds Hatter has gone madder than ever!  We won’t tell you any more as you won’t go see the film!

Here at Crafty Arty Parties, our fantastical Alice in Wonderland Fun Days are taking shape – the lawns are mowed, the roses are freshly painted and the jam tarts are in the oven!

With Spring just around the corner, Prop Dead Gorgeous has a fantastic new theme – The Farmers Market Experience! 

We have a huge selection of props including life size animals, farm buildings, carts, troughs, barrels and wooden fencing along with artificial foliage ranging from wheat sheafs and hedging to giant Oak trees. Then to set the scene, lets not forget the endless bunting and blankets!

There’s themed entertainment and activities guaranteed to pop a smile on your face too! How about learning how to milk our full size animated Jersey Cow (well you never know when you might need it), as well as colourful canopied market stalls where you can acquire skills in butter churning, and attend workshops run by our foodie experts in preserves,  jams and chutney making!

Prop Dead Gorgeous is opening its doors for a Spring Open Day!

VIP guests, both corporate and private clients, are invited to view the showrooms between March 1st to March 3rd inclusive.

Visitors will be able to see things first hand, chat to the PDG team, and interact with the many props. They will be able to discuss how to improve their forthcoming events with theming tips, and creative ideas that won’t break the bank!

The props and themed installations on display will include: a full Alice Through the Looking Glass show set, a giant Under the Sea adventure complete with life size great White Shark, Hall of Whacky Mirrors and stunning Garden Games including themed Crazy Golf and giant interactive Story Books.

Seasonal displays are not forgotten either – look out for our cute Ice Cream Pop Up Grotto, a Christmas Bridge and a Polar Bear  Playground!
