Big Footfall was delighted when Intu Shopping Centres in collaboration with Warner Brothers Consumer Products and DC Entertainment was asked to produce a series of retail family entertainment experiences based on the comic book superheroes.Families from around the UK were asked to ‘rescue’ their local intu centre from the clutches of DC-Comics Super Villains including The Joker, The Penguins, The Riddler and more.

Kids were also invited for ‘meet and greets’ with a DC Comic Super Hero, take part in villain round ups and even try a super hero costume for size along with themed arts and crafts, music, fun and games at the Super Hero training academy

Set over six weeks the campaign was an outstanding success encouraging shoppers to find out what missions were happening and when at local intu centres by visting their website, then downloading a ‘mission card’ or picking one up from their local centre
